I am an OR Nurse. I had the privilege of working w Dr Marco several times. Of course it has been said many times, but worth saying again...Dr Marco is an excellent person and surgeon. He was always very respectful, quiet spoken, and great to work with. When you were assigned to be in his room the next day, you were extra happy to come to work because you knew it was going to be a smooth day. Dr Marco was ready. His patients were ready. And we were ready.

My mym is 64 and only last week was told she has 3 months to live. Prior to that she thought she had a stroke as she she also had one, 2 months earlier when nothing was discovered in her head during scan. From nothing to 3 months to live over just a few weeks has absolutely crushed confused and came at us like a raging bull out of nowhere. Did anyone else have similar experience of such rapid, unexpected progression?

My b.o has changed for the better, I noticed it and did my own experiment. No deodorant for a week, my girl literally had no issue with it, I still eat onion and garlic because I'm Hispanic. I do put deodorant now, I'm just saying, she didn't mind being under my arm shirtless. Protip: eat fruits you love, mine are peaches, pineapple, apples. Extra protip: get the whole pineapple, and throw the center and skin of the pineapple in a kettle and make tea. So many benefits with pineapple consumption its crazy.

I have an appointment at UCSF Medical Center September 15th. Being 70 and on a very limited social security budget, I have opted to walk from Cleveland. It is 2460 miles. Walking on average 20 miles a day and resting throughout, it will take me 123 days to the day to arrive punctually. Such a sad ending to America's very first male exotic dancer (aka Dave 'the knave'). Yes, a third person reference... Join me, on any leg of my route. I was taught early on, "any publicity is good publicity". And, I'll never refuse a roof for the night. Through it all, it's been a blast!

I am so interested in this. I have just started taking Tamoxifen after a recurrence of breast cancer. I have been suffering dreadfully with vaginal atrophy for many years. Now I can hardly sit down some days it is so painful. I’ve tried every moisturiser and lubricant available. Nothing really works apart from the vaginal oestrogen I used to take before breast cancer. Now my oncologist says that’s a definite no. I hope your study can prove him wrong! I live in the UK.

My husband of 39 years was diagnosed with glioblastoma on dec 9 2017. Surgery on Jan 2 2018. Chemo was Temozolomide and radiation. Tumor was area where speech is affected. Six months later a regrowth. We always knew when it came back bc seizures would start again. Surgery again. More chemo but doctors said he had his limit of radiation. Therapy for speech the entire time. He couldn’t work bc his thought processes were not normal. He could no longer spell correctly so he would not write his messages to us. I think he was in his own head and lacked confidence. We were left with trying to understand him and it was very hard. He would get aggravated and give up. We were constantly working with him on his speech but he thought therapy should work faster. Then another tumor grew back in six months again. A third surgery. This time the surgeon had to go deeper into his brain to take out the tumor. This left him paralyzed on his right side. Both arm and leg. He became so depressed. And three surgeries in eighteen months left him very weak. He started physical therapy in-house. He never got the use of his arm and leg. He came home to hospice care. Six weeks later he died. We did research other treatments during his illness but we spent so much time with treatment and surgery and taking care of him. I feel like I failed him bc I could not find other options as far as doctors and treatments are concerned. It’s been four years now and I still can’t get through my grief and guilt. It sure makes me happy when I hear of people who have this awful form of cancer and having success with their treatments! I only wish our story was the same. Congratulations! I will pray for all victims of this disease and their families! God bless

How ridiculous. Just multiply how many pounds you weigh don't bother to convert. "strive for 0.45 to 0.55 gram of protein per pound of body weight daily"
